According to the latest content marketing statistics, companies are spending as much as 41 percent of their total marketing budgets on content and content alone (Zazzle Media, 2019). This actually marks a shocking 78 percent increase in just one year.
Experts say the increasing budgets are due to marketers’ growing understanding of how to better plan a content marketing strategy and execute it.
But that’s not all. As brands start to see the benefits and importance of content marketing, higher expenditure becomes increasingly justified and marketers expect more money to be allocated to it.
In fact, six in ten marketers say that their content marketing budgets will be increased next year. If they manage to do it well and reap its rewards, we can expect budgets to continue increasing.
